The Alex T Brown ~ 1903 – 1917

This wooden 4 masted schooner was blown ashore by a gale just north of Yanchep on it’s way from Fremantle to the Puget Sound. The wreck has just recently been exposed due to erosion and heavy swells, just close by to one of my husband’s fave surf spots. When I heard of this, I knew an adventure was on the cards ;)

After driving down a dirt road and a short hike through sand dunes we found the shipwreck and WOW, it was so worth the trip. I was completely mesmerised by the history, the journeys and the stories of this ship. My imagination was running wild! I wasn’t planning an outfit post, it was more of a spontaneous adventure and then we just started taking a lot of photos and so here it is ;) On another note I’m actually obsessed with this Free People dress. I simply can’t stop wearing it. It’s the most divine, soft lace with the perfect cut and length for me. In love :)

To honouring the memory of historical events no matter how big or small and adventures that excite the imagination, dredging untold stories of past.

With love and gratitude,

Helen xx
