A blend of soft flowy laces, cotton gauze and light wool, cool lilac tones, topped off with some ethereal crystals and earthy shells. This has to be one of my favourite outfits I’ve styled. And I’m wearing two of my favourite Byron bay designers in the one shoot! Each piece holds so much beauty, though together they create a little magic for me. I felt like a bohemian princess as I strolled along my local beach. Definitely an outfit that reminds me of the goddess within.
Have fun with your wardrobes lovelies and keep on playing dress ups. Do it for yourself, because at the end of the day, it’s your thoughts and the way you feel that matter most. Never stop exploring, experimenting and bravely sharing who you are through your style. Let your creativity and joy shine on!
I am of sand and sea, if you look for me, this is where I’ll be.
Most days are now spent fulfilling my dream of styling and creating outfits and visions that I spontaneously dream up. Venturing off to the sand and sea where I can so easily centre myself and share my love and light through my images, is an absolute joy and privilege. Something that you guys might not all know is that each time I take photos, I find that centre point within, that stillness. I fill this space with love until it is overflowing. Love for self, for you, for all beings and for our mother earth. As I emerge I channel this love through my being in the hopes that even my images themselves will bestow upon others love, healing, inspiration and passion for life.
I find I’m almost needing to pinch myself lately…I am actually living my dream. And I wouldn’t be able to do this without all the love and support I get from you guys.
This post is for you. For all of you. For taking the time to visit my blog, to comment, to email me, to share your ups and downs, for everything. I love you guys.
And you may have noticed a few changes to my blog at the moment. I’m currently in the process of transferring and transforming it over the next few weeks. I’m so excited for this change and to bring you all a greater user experience when you visit.
A few weeks ago…or maybe even a month now (WOW!) I had the pleasure of visiting the Hobo + Hatch pop up shop down south in the beautiful town Cowaramup, in the Margaret River wine region. The vibe and beauty of this town and shop was so relaxing…I didn’t want to leave! If you get the chance to stop by on your travels it’s a must! So many of my favourite labels like Rue Stiic + Arrow Divine all in the one place. And what a space it is! So perfectly decked out with peacock chairs, divine tapestries, worldly jewels and cow skulls. See pics below!! I was lucky enough to pick up one of their yakadiyak wool/cotton shawls and it’s been keeping me warm and cosy during this sudden seasonal shift right into winter! And not only are they divine, each purchase supports communities in Nepal. “By purchasing from our Yakadiyak range you’ve helped make a small difference in the lives of others. We will continue to donate our time & money to the Nepalese community that touched our hearts & forever changed our soul” – Leona, Hobo + Hatch. Nothing better than wearing conscious clothing. Feels soooo good in so many ways :))))
These photos featuring this beautiful scarf, were taken a couple of weeks ago when summer was still hanging around for one last party :) The golden light in the afternoon seems to intensify during this time of year. The sunsets are so brilliant and deep, just like the autumn leaves. It’s yet another magical time of year with so much beauty to be thankful for.
A wonderful afternoon playing at our treasured local beach dressed in vintage shell trinkets from the amazing Trinkit Hunter, mermaid jewels from my fave Penny for your Thoughts, and Eterie daisy chains. Such a carefree day exploring the beach, gazing out to the horizon in the hopes of glimpsing a dolphin or two, and working some mermaid spells fulfilling my childhood fantasies of becoming a real life mermaid ;)
Spend your days dreaming, conjuring, creating magic….immerse yourself in all that you love, all that inspires, all that brings happiness and joy to your heart. This is the essence of life and become a point of attraction for creating even more bliss and wonder to your days.
Feet in the sand, ocean air in my lungs, wind in my hair, a magical horizon in sight full of dreams and infinite possibilities.
I’ve spent so much time this past year at the beach on photo shoots for my blog. Each time I find myself entering a meditative state as I dreamily gaze out to sea. I feel earthed and connected with my bare feet on the sand, the water ever so gently washing over me reminding me that I am at the edge of land and sea. The horizon so endless, boundless, infinite, awakening dreams, igniting passion, soothing my soul. The wind so refreshing and enlivening at times, and then so soft and gentle as it caresses my skin. With each breath I am filled with vitality and renewed. My heart expands in this space that can only be called magical. It’s my nirvana, my enlightenment. My holy place. Where I slip into the gap between thoughts.
This beautiful afternoon I wore some of my favourite mermaid treasures from Penny for your Thoughts Jewellery. Paired with my Soleil Blue top and Myee Carlyle kimono, I felt like a reflection of the turquoise sea. Each of these amazing designers ignites my love of the ocean with their inspiring creations. You only have to check out their instagrams to see what I’m talking about. Always such beautiful captivating imagery that will evoke mermaid dreams of tropical islands and an ocean oasis.
AND today I get to share a little of my mermaid bliss with you guys!!!! YAY!!!!! I’ve paired up with the inspirational Soleil Blue, and we are giving away one of these Julia tube tops that I’m wearing in this post. It’s the perfect addition to your mermaid wardrobe. I love it paired with just about anything….from denim cut offs, a flowing maxi skirt, harem pants or with some awesome denim baggies. Such a cute top!
The divine light in me honours the divine light in you. Namaste
I’ve spent many days watching the changing light reflect off the ocean and sand like a divine mirror reflecting all that is. This time of year it has a particular iridescent sparkle, an opalescent glow, and serious magic about it. I’m drawn to it like no other. I crave to be near it, as it ignites my inner wisdom and replenishes my energy.
I’ve recently gone through some deep introspection and felt my heart expand further, and even deeper into love. As I’ve meditated upon the ocean tides and celebrated the moon phases, a greater understanding and love has been evolving within. An understanding of the divine tapestry of life. An acceptance of it’s flow. An unconditional love for myself, regardless of what my circumstances may be. I’ve shed many tears to come to this place and I foresee many more to come as I journey this path. Though ultimately as we accept and love ourselves for who we are, we experience a deeper and more joyous state within our being. Our lives are richer, fuller, our experiences and connections more authentic and real. The vibrational energy of love heals the wounds that once felt unforgivable, and lifts our experience to pure childlike joy. Our inherent nature is restored. As the love for myself grows, it is reflected in the unconditional acceptance and love I experience for every being. As my soul’s eye opens up to the divine light within, I begin to see it in all beings, and know that we are all reflections of divine light and love.
This outfit post was right up there with one of my favourites shoots. It was so effortless and fun. Childlike, playful, even a little cheeky. I was floating in the clouds, yet grounded to the core. I felt infinite, boundless, expansive. In love with life.
Sending infinite amounts of love and light to all you beautiful, magnificent, divine beings. I love you all.
Turquoise is possibly my favourite gemstone. I’m in awe of the multitude of variations, colours and textures. Such an incredible selection - Indian mountain, Peruvian, African, Kingman, Blue Moon, Easter blue, Robins egg, Bisbee and Black widow turquoise to name just a few. The list goes on and on. I can’t even pick my favourite as I simply love them all for their unique properties and beautiful variances.
We are so blessed mother earth has created these magical gemstones and crystals that bring beauty, inspiration and healing all in one. Not only does turquoise look beautiful it’s actually a wonderful purification and protective stone. It provides protection from outside pollutants and energies. On a physical level it aids in detoxification, improves the absorption of nutrients, stimulates the immune system, regulates inflammatory pathways, so great for those with any chronic pain/arthritis. When my back flares up I make sure to layer it on :)
This week I’ve been wearing a lot of turquoise. Thanks to my dearest friend and amazing jewellery designer, Kami Lerner, who sent me a bundle of turquoise from her own personal collection. I am now overflowing with my favourite stone. The energy emitting from my jewellery stands is just incredible at the moment. So many magical crystals and gems all together. I love it! And I feel so very grateful for these precious jewels and gems from the earth.
Here’s a few pics from my Instagram this week with all the shop details listed below. And a few sneaky looks at my dressing table, my alter, where all my precious jewellery lives, and a little piece of my heart and soul.
AND in case you feel like adding some more precious turquoise into your life, here are a few of my personal favourites to shop for awesome turquoise treasures -

I can’t believe it’s almost been an entire week since my road trip adventures down south! I’ve been craving the open road and the possibilities of discovering amazing places in nature, and deeply connecting with mother earth in a quiet and beautiful space. Last weekend I was lucky enough to experience many magical moments. I will be sharing those with you over the next few posts starting with our arrival. A sun filled day of family fun followed by a hazy purple sunset. Arriving to our beachside apartment was one long exhale for us all. It was a continual unwinding from this point on as we slowed our pace and melted into bliss.
Here are some snaps from our first day wearing one of my favourite local brands, Sea Dreamer, lovingly made down south in Dunsborough.
“Meet me at the water’s edge and dance to an ancient rhythm feel the beat of forgotten song re-discover what time has hidden“
A little snippet of some inspirational words written by amazing calligraphy artist Suzi Smith.
This post is dedicated to all things turquoise…to my love of crystal clear waters and the healing, soothing energies they embody. Here is a collection of photos taken by my husband and I from our travels along the Western Australian coastline, Big Sur, California, North West USA, Canada, Glacier National Park, Banff, Yellowstone, and Bali. We are always chasing the turquoise hues from oceans and rivers to glacial waters. There’s also a couple of inspirational shots of Suzi Smith’s artwork that has captured my heart and soul. And for all those wondering where I get all my rings from, I’ve added some of my jewellery pictures I’ve posted on my Instagram….the links are all below.
I hope these turquoise visions imbue upon you all the same calm, peaceful vibes they do for me.
“hark, now hear the sailors cry, smell the sea, and feel the sky let your soul & spirit fly, into the mystic…” ~ Van Morrison
I simply can’t get enough mermaiding this summer! To be one with the sea, revitalised by the nourishing waters, all worries washed away. I’m so lucky to live near the beach, and in a country with an abundance of sunshine and blue skies. I know there are many who don’t live near the ocean, and some who have never even seen the ocean. I really try to cherish the fact that the ocean is so close and make the most of it whenever I can. It’s such a blessing! I feel so alive and free when I’m there….to simply sit and watch the sunrise, ride the waves, or dance in the sand.
To all those in winter on the other side of the world, or those who live far from the ocean…I’m sending you sunshine vibes and the hope that soon you’ll get to visit the beautiful ocean once again.
