“Your core, lying deep within you, is what makes you what you are. Some call it the soul, the Higher Self, the true self, the being and so on. The name is unimportant once you realize that you are more than your looks and outward appearance.” – Stephen Richards
It’s been a really amazing start to the year for me. Since finding out about my degenerative spine condition late last year, I started a holistic healing regime focused on management, prevention and regeneration. Strengthening my core from a physical perspective has never been more important. To be strong in my core holds my spine in place. And I’m soooo happy to announce that in only 3 short months I am now able to do handstands on the beach with no ounce of pain or discomfort, just pure joy and happiness. I attribute my healing to a combination of clinical pilates, daily meditation, and shifts in my vibrational energy. My core, my soul, my higher self, which are all really just who I am, is also an energy system, that requires fine tuning every now and then. Grounding exercises, breathing, sound healing, affirmations, choosing peaceful, loving thoughts, earthing (walking barefoot), eating organic, raw, vital foods all raise the vibrational frequency of my energy and are also part of this healing process for me. I can see this beautiful glowing sphere of golden light within, at my centre, at my core, that is stronger and brighter than ever. It spirals outwards, ever expanding unto infinity, illuminating everything in it’s path.
On this beautiful sunset evening, all cosy in my Rue Stiic wardrobe staples and jewels from my all time fave babe Child of Wild, barefoot on the earth, I could feel how deeply grounded, how balanced and strong I have become…to the very core of my being. This is something I value greatly, and will continue to work at in order to maintain this level of health. I accept there may be days when things will slide the other way. Those are the days I’ll be extra kind to myself, extra easy on myself and will remind myself that there are always better days ahead.
With love and gratitude,
Helen xx
